Hi Gang,

I need a new water pump for my 87 FJ60 (with fan clutch and oil cooler).
- Toyota no longer has them
- Cruiser Matt is currently out of stock
- Rock Auto has Beck/Arnley and US Motor Works, are these any good?
- GMB is reportedly good, where can I get one?
- I saw NPW as maybe being good, is it? Where can I get one?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thx, Paul M (fj60pm)

cruiseroutfitters?
@cruiseroutfit

Looks like our NPW Japan aftermarket versions sold out over the weekend. We've got a bunch more en route.

NPW is a made-in-Japan OE supplier.

Beck/Arnley is most likely a reboxed GMB - GMB has factories in many diff Countries, so who knows Country of Origin.

US Motor works is an American Made water pump and I have read good things about the company and products though I have no personal experience with them. I wouldn't hesitate to use one in a pinch.

As for other sources? 2F water pumps seem to have dried up. Some expensive ones on ebay, shipped from the ME. Some on Amazon shipped from parts unknown, but I've grown very wary of ebay / amz parts are there is so much counterfeit sheet being sold on those two outlets, particularly parts shipped from 3rd parties.... I got burned on some Denso fuel Injectors.

Good luck.

@cruiseroutfit do you have NPW pumps in stock? (85 fan/oil cooler)

I suspect no, the website shows zero again so we may have sold thru again. I’ve got pallets (literally) of water pumps en route in the works but it’s a bit of a lead time to solve the NLA OEM and AISIN pumps for good I hope. You can always ping the shop, the team there will have better visibility to what’s on the shelf or incoming. I’m out for Cruise Moab until the 20th.
