Thanks dude, can you tell that I live alone? :D

Now that I'm waiting on engine parts I think I will dig into the cab's icy remains. I just lost my crappy maps, the water didn't reach my inverter. Since the bench never thawed I think if I dry it quickly I can minimize the mold. It was ruined before this happened so it does not matter if I don't save it.

ms018kmf "The j**p is freakin freezing and I don't want to pay 500$ for a top and doors (not even getting into the carb's issues)." how bout the issue that it is heep?:flipoff2: The seat in the pickup wasnt that bad it only had a small hole.
toyota should have put buckets in the truck not a bench. You are still more ambitious than lots of people would be. My toes get cold just going outside for a few min with wool socks on, and you turn wrenches
start hijack
Oh and MOGAS bent is bent you have funny tire wear yet?
them stock uppers are weak cut em and put in some 1/4 wall
end hijack

The Jeep is paid for. Unfortunately, the only way to get the 24K back is to beat it like it owes me money.:grinpimp: You should just work different hours to haul my ass to work, then I won't need to drive the Jeep. The truck should have buckets, agreed. Sends a message to the bums that I don't wana squeeze three people in. Lots to do, I'm just appraising what the cab needs. I'm gona have a running truck before I have a proper interior. Electrical things all seem to still work (at least the crap that worked before).

Finally compression has been re-established, the truck lives! I just drove around the parking lot for fun but I need to go over a few more things before it's balls deep in the woods. It started the first try and once it warmed up it seems to start better than before (nicer idle too). I got a stock airbox, sometime next week I plan to order a snorkel. I got off easy not needing the motor but I had to pay with wrench time. :D

Nice job George.
