Anyone know if these are factory windshield washer nozzles? I’m thinking no but can’t seem to find any online. I have a washer fluid tank/pump that comes with the tubing, just not sure how it routes in the engine bay with the dual nozzles.

Looks like the ones that were on a 1970 hood I had. I think they were stock one early 40's then the switched to the plastic ET head looking ones.

Didn't find any routing pictures in mud, surely someone has posted a picture of OEM routing. Here's a microfiche drawing.

I can find posts for later years where it routs through the windshield frame but I’ve searched here and the google and come up with nothing.

stand by for 2nd pic , see female threads behind clutch master , a footman's loop goes there to help route and guide hose .........

Yes

just under the lip of the cowel

inside the engine bay

remember this was a dealer installed assy option

and routing had to be quick fast and efficient

so surface runs tucked up with the vacuum tube
For the t-case etc makes logical sence to me

Modern Toyota’s are run in a similar fassion

the exact placement of that 1 clip is a critical clue

note my cataloger says only 1 per Vehical

See if u still have the Clip installed

Maybe it’s wedged in time and space right before our eyes

And only a sharp one will find it ...

I will continue the hunt

And post any relevant info

Well I knew I needed to replace the wiper switch because it wouldn’t turn the pump on. Changed it, pump up works but I’m still having the same problem that the wipers will not turn off every time. It was fine when I had the 40 off but switched on, started the engine and they won’t turn off now unless I park them between off and the first speed on the switch. Could it be the motor? I’m not very good with wiring and it’s a pain to get up in there (fat).

Well got the tubing in. One nozzle was clogged so I blew it out with compressed air. I got washer fluid now. Took the switch out a couple times and now it seems to be working. Hardest part was getting the defrost duct back in afterwards.
