Well I knew I needed to replace the wiper switch because it wouldn’t turn the pump on. Changed it, pump up works but I’m still having the same problem that the wipers will not turn off every time. It was fine when I had the 40 off but switched on, started the engine and they won’t turn off now unless I park them between off and the first speed on the switch. Could it be the motor? I’m not very good with wiring and it’s a pain to get up in there (fat).

If the wipers continue to not park (shut off) periodically, clean the contacts under the little plastic cover on the wiper motor/transmission. If that contact gets dirty, the motor will not brake correctly and will roll right through the park position.
