If you want to talk dishwashers I can do that. I've been through 5 in 15 years. All kinds of brands. The bosh we bought last year has been awesome. Would recommend that brand over pretty much everything else. Kids cannot destroy them.

Since this thread got bumped, curious more info on your DW. We're going to need a new one soon.

Unsolicited datapoint for @open country I’ve had a Bosch 800 since 3/2024. Zero issues. Works great. I have descaled it twice, but the thing just works. So far anyways. 3 years has been the average our dishwashers have sustained our punishing use cycle before taking a $hit. HTH

I've heard really good things about Bosch 800 series too.

It’s quiet as a mouse fart while running compared to some of our prior (now dead) dishwashers. I would recommend it at this point for sure.

We have a 10yr old Bosch 800 series dishwasher. Run it daily. Zero issues ever and ridiculously quiet.

Thanks, we actually just pulled the trigger on the Bosch 300 series, was $200 off on Memorial Day sale at Best Buy, and added the 5 year warranty with install for less than Costco's price for same model. Hoping it was a good decision, the Bosch 800 has some tech we frankly don't need and was looking to stay under $1000 all in.

May have gone from LC to 4Runner but trusting in the Bosch brand.
