Wanted to buy and FJ40 or BJ40, below are some specs:
1. Restored White or Dune Beige
2. Good running/strong F2 Inline 6 or Diesel engine
3. 1978 or newer (prefered)
4. Hardtop
5. Large fuel cell (a must for a DD)
6. Will be used as a daily driver but also for hunting & trout fishing
7. AC would be nice (not a must)

I live in Georgia,and would like to find one in South, but I'm willing to travel to see the right 40. I'd like to keep the price around $30K (+/-) for a good looking/running rig.

Your FJ looks incredible. Congratulations on your find. It sounds like you got a great rig for an awesome price! If you don't mind my asking, how did you come across it?
 
I've been looking all over the internet for months, and happened across it. I called about 5 minutes after they posted their add, what luck. They worked with me and the questions I had. I asked for more engine and under body photos as well as a compression test. They didn't mind and once all checked out, I sent an earnest check, booked a flight and off I went....Truthfully, I didn't expect it to be what it was, but sure was delighted when it turned out to be what I was hoping for.....a good check over, a test drive, some good ole Texas BBQ, a handshake and one bought FJ40! It loads on a truck this Monday and is to be delivered back to Georgia on Tuesday.

Wednesday, the Mad-FJ40-Disease begins!
 
You should have driven that rig back to GA :) I bought my first 40 in Phoenix and almost drove it back but figured it would be cheaper to just ship it.
Welcome to the addiction. This is just the beginning :)
