Yes..the dog rabies protocol is lengthy, complicated and costly. I started it in April and they are finally eligible to enter Japan at the end of November. No quarantine in Japan after all this though. I'll be coming back and forth with them for trials which isn't too bad but If I stay out of Japan for more than a year I have to do the full procedure again.
