Had a friend of my neighbor inquire about landcruisers for a Netflix shoot in Colwood. They didn't want mine as its the wrong color. Their looking for grey or black color. To be honest I think they might be getting Landcruiser/Landrovers mixed up, lol. Anyhow you get $250-300 a day. Apparently they put it on a flat deck for pickup/dropoff and run it very little or not at all.

I know most of you won't let your cruisers out of your sight let alone on a tow truck, but if you're interested in your cruiser getting some 'fame' let me know and I'll put you in touch. Post your best picture here....

Hopefully never again!

I’d consider letting them use mine. Although it’s not the right colour... oh well.

So who is the ’star’ of the show? I mean, a person has to make sure their truck
is gonna be respected. Can’t just use it for two scenes, then blow it up or something

Well s***, I wish I'd seen this post last week
I'm working on that production I could have convinced them to use mine

They've indicated they want mine, but it's going to be a real inconvenience doing without a car next week. I can put them in touch with you if you're really interested....

Been told in the past never to do this, your vehicle is not treated nicely and returns not as it left your yard.

I’d mandate to being stunt double driver. I mean, whoever the guy is he won’t be as good looking
or as fit as I am, right? 😂. Taller maybe, but not better looking.

My bro in law here in Victoria works as a sound engineer and camera guy all the time on these sorts of projects. He's let his vehicles be used as props a few times. He also sees how they treat the vehicles all the time. He said they're really good to them and rarely even drive them. They also have excellent insurance. When using the cars more typically they have people out of view pushing on the bumpers to make it look like the vehicle is moving. They almost never film in a moving car. They also have very good insurance.

@cruiserpilot and @seapotato I think your 60s are actually exactly what they're looking for. Mine with the red paint and aluminum rims is too bright. But they're running out of time and are considering mine now. Anyhow, I know you two are probably the least likely to let yours be used anyhow....lol.
