I know it's and old thread but I couldn't resist.
I'm near Danbury, 1978FJ40 (the lawncruiser, cuz that's the only place it's been since I've owned it) Only had it since October, oh yah new to mud
(man that's fun). I'm really glad I found this forum it's really useful.

Thanks for the warm welcome, I work 100yds from the Holiday Inn, I look for your cuiser in the lot. It's great know there are cruiser heads in the the area, once it's road worthy I look forward to some trail rides. I still can't believe how fast I became totally obsessed with this thing, I haven't had a project car since high school and forgot how much fun it was.

I think there are only 3 of us in RIbut it is good to see all the CT. cruiser heads pop up. anyone seen a 78' fj40 with a family cage on an ome lift? it was green I sold it to a kid in ct 6 years ago it had allumium diamond plate on the tub but really needed a new tub.
cruiser content I had Spence trim my rear quarter panels on my fj62 he did a awesome job. his welding skillz are great and he is very fair. and builds stuff right and sturdy.
is RI a state?
I think its a Territory, you know like Puerto Rico is.
