Does anyone have a Viper front bumper installed on their 200 series Land Cruiser? If so, please provide feedback, i.e., ease of install, fuel economy, air bag issues/concerns (if any), parking sensors, headlamp washer compatibility, etc. Also, pictures are most welcome. Please advise. Thanks!

have you tried the search function? pretty sure its been discussed often over the years. been around for awhile now.

I have to say... It does LOOK awesome...

It does look really good. I spoke with Viper. They told me they can cut openings to accept the headlamp washers and the parking sensors. They can have it to my door in 4-6 weeks.

I searched for previous posts regarding Viper but have been unsuccessful in uncovering any meaningful "user" information. This is why I started this post. Hopefully, someone who has installed this bumper will provide us details.

IF you're out there, please help!

I was told by Viper (via telephone) the bumper is ABS compliant. However, I have not seen any written proof thereof.

How much is it?

I just heard back from them today. Price is $1675.

I asked if they can make a full bull bar version and they said no. If they did offer a full bar, I might have given them a try.

I'm also curious of what it weighs? It looks heavy. Add a winch and it's really heavy. It would be a solid contender if made out of aluminum like the Aluminess.

130 LBS. I'm thinking of getting one. Looks like the airbag sensors would be unaffected on my 2008. I am more worried about this thing flexing when I bounce it on a rock.

Wasn't this the bumper that guy installed before he left for Africa and it bent his frame somehow? Internet slow atm and can't search.

Viper:

Looks= :cool:

Protection= :flush:

It was. Viper bumpers don’t have a good mounting design and a guy paid for it when his frame horn broke off.

It’s not for rough roads. Maybe fine for American highways and no winchcing, mostly just a look that someone might want.
