Awesome - Thanks Danny!

Anyone want to comment on what they paid for labor to install the fronts?

I'm the 3rd Beta tester. I paid $75 for install as well. It took a little leg work to find a shop that would do the install with customer supplied film. Eventually I got the owner of one of the shops to look at the film. Now after the install, he wants to get some of this film for other customers with bronze colored tint.

Results from my install were great, even with a 36x40 sheet. There were a few crinkle in the sheet from the tube, but the installers did a great job working those out in the end. I can still see one or two little specs of where a crinkle was, but I have to really be looking.

From the outside, the color is a pretty close match. The Viper film has a little more bronze color in it, maybe. (It could be there is a bit of a thin film effect from the adhesive and soap water still curing causing a little extra bronzing sheen.) Still the installer said it was the best match he has been able to do for this kind of tint.

The inside is where it counts for me. The color match when looking out of the windows is great. The heat rejection in full sun was excellent too. The savings from not needing to run AC as much will probably pay for this mod in gas savings. (I don't tolerate heat well and run my AC from mid Spring to mid Fall.) I'm thinking about doing the windscreen next.

Thanks again Danny on sharing the find!

Here are a couple snaps, before and after. (Sorry I don't have the same orientation and lighting conditions, but with me and photography, ya get what ya pay for sometimes.)

Is this film only available in 30%? I personally would like something darker. The factory tint makes me feel like I'm driving in a fishbowl!

State law in MI is 35% for front and, I believe, rear windows. We don't have any sunshine up here though.

guys as a testament to the character and integrity of Mr. Noonan, he was kind enough to ship me a 2nd batch. I will drop another check to him this week.

Noonan, you're a great man, you didn't have to do that!

I think I'm going to have to pay around $100 to have installed at the dealer. The other local shop is owned by a guy I don't like and another another shop I called said he couldn't put any film on that wasn't theirs.

Noonan did a good job here and I'm sure required a lot of effort. My film came quick and communication was great.

Thank you for the kind words. Happy to be able to do it. Let's see some pics when you all get it done. One set left, FYI.

I ended up paying $80 to get mine installed. Had a little problem, my tint guy (my buddy) was pretty confident he could cut it on his plotter, it had barely enough clearance on the plotter screen to cut two after it measured the film. But when the machine actually cut it, it started a couple inches into the sheet and didn't finish cutting the second window because it ran out of film. Luckily I had ordered a second sheet for another LX and he free handed one out of it, so I can at least get one window done on the second LX. I was planning on him free handing it to begin with, but he was pretty confident the plotter would cut it. Oh well, live and learn. So, don't cut it on a plotter.

Turned out good, still waiting on it to dry out all the way for final result. Not quite as reflective as the OEM glass.

Mine came in last week will be installed this coming week I can't wait.

Thanks Danny

Same here. Thanks Danny for not only heading this up but seeing it through. I hope to talk to a couple shops this week to get someone to take care of it for me.

Thanks Danny for all the effort. Looks to be a very good match.

Don't let anyone try to peddle you another brand. The version Danny has provided is the best match I've seen.

I also got my package really quickly. I got a quote from a highly recommended shop here in Chico, CA for $60-$70. Unfortunately I'm on vacation so install and pics will have to wait a couple weeks. Thank you so much for the awesome service, Danny.

Would like to be added to the list. Good lookin' out, pm sent @danny noonan.
