Looking for somewhere to buy the original size and configuration for my 01. Mine are faded and wearing off.

Anyone have a place to buy them?

You mean the middle of the stripe on the side? Yes! MIne is gone as well. I'm not even sure what color it was supposed to be... it was like that when I bought it. :)

If you're talking about the plastic trim piece that runs down the side and the middle of that that flakes off, mask it and paint it. Peeps have used plasti-dip or spray on bed liner. Trimming vinyl would work well too. But, there's no one producing just the cut vinyl.

The vinyl works great for the trim strip down the sides, Look for a 3M dealer and get a color chart then find a good match. It comes in 60" widths so I just bought a foot and cut strips to fit mine. Looks factory and has lasted over two years at this point with no signs of fading or coming off. Much cheaper and easier than paint if you can find a color that matches your vehicle.

Like trunk monkey mentioned, on a previous silver '04, I taped off and rattle canned that strip with a matte black and it looked great.

I sprayed over the black with a clear coat.

I liked it better than the factory look.

Pictures!

Mine with 3M, Forget exact 3M color but vehicle is River Rock Green Mica and its a close match.

I'm just referring to pin stripes, although I should paint the trim piece now that you mention it.

Pin stripes are available at about any auto parts store. I redid mine in photo above.
