Does anyone know if Victory 4x4 does any sales? Really eyeing the front and rear strike bumpers and adventure carriers. Thinking I may wait until the holiday season in hopes that there is a discount.

Not this year. We are doing everything we can to hold pricing as we deal with skyrocketing materials and shortages.

Life's tough, but someone has to do it.
It's nice to see a company doing some real life testing to see what kind of side protection is needed!! Maybe Victory will do a exo-skeleton cage for the gX460's??
Hopefully not body damage on that last pic.
The aluminum boat took a beating, but protected the GX. Going to have to repaint the bottom of the doors, but at least I don’t have to replace them!

I really like they way you mount your MaxTrax inline with the axis of the vehicle. I have mine mounted the same way (I'm sure you've seen photos of them on my rig). I believe it reduces review obstruction and decreases (air) drag behind the vehicle. I really don't like the mounts that are attached to the spare tire or any mounts in that orientation.

Regarding your up and coming rear shelf rack that'll sit between the rear quarter MOLLE panels, may I offer a suggestion? Can you have the shelf be adjustable in depth for so it can be custom for each owner?? The photos below is a design I just quickly threw together on SoildWorks to give an idea of what I'm talking about.
If you would like the SolidWorks files for reference, I send the to you, but all the dimensions were just ballpark from what I remember from when I measured some time ago, so even if you use my files you'll still need to fine tune your dim's.

Hi @brimy311 these options look good.

Is it possible to order a front bumper without the laser etched logo? Can a one-off order be done ahead of time so it skips this process during manufacture?

Thanks

P.S. forgot to add the Victory logo, sorry...

The bumpers look great. I have a couple questions on the rear bumper. Ours and a lot of other GX's are daily drivers so ease of access to the rear on a day to day basis is important. This brings up 2 questions that align with that
  • Do you think it would be possible for the tire swing side to be mounted to a license plate bracket and hinge so it can open with the rear door? Having it open separately is needed and a nice feature on T4R's and LC because you can use the swing as a table etc, but it is not a useable feature on our GX's since it opens with it. It is more useable on the driver side for that feature. I know this is done on jeeps and some other bumpers but they tend to be centered on the rear. I like that your wheel is off center and like the looks your bumper better then most. With the GX being a swing door this would be a very nice feature. This is the only sticking point. Maybe an option or added kit so we don't have to latch and unlatch every time we open the rear door? I would probably want the ability to latch it as I use it on the trail for the extra strength while in the field, but day to day wouldn't need it. Same idea on the pull pin at the hinge. Maybe a set to unlock setting?
  • Is it possible to easily unbolt the non tire side swing. If so how quick is the removal? Again on a day to day basis we wouldn't use it but when we are on the trail we would have it on.
Great work coming out of your group, and appreciate the updates and updates on the forum.

Not something we offer. The carriers are shared across all of our platforms, which helps keep pricing down. It is an extra step, but honestly it’s not a huge deal.

Just unbolt the bottom spindle bolt and lift the carrier off.

Cool concept, but that would be a major time sucker on the laser $$$!

Yep, I know cutting all those squares would be huge and I don't think Victory would sell enough or could afford a die to punch them all out.
Unless you were to die cut sheets (4'x8'?) and then cut the sheets into the appropriate pattern for each application? Then again, you'll increase your welding costs since you'd be having to weld on all the hangers and bracketing needed instead of just bending them from one sheet.

We do not offer custom changes. The product is only available as shown.
No worries, thanks for clarifying. It's unfortunate, as I would otherwise be interested.

Bit of feedback - your logo looks much too similar to another, more infamous eagle for me to want to have it on the front of my vehicle.

I know. Planning on it, but fortunately, winter time is prime wrenching and wheeling time in AZ. :)
Mine was ordered mid May, this Friday will be a full 12 weeks. Hopefully ships the end of the month, I have a trip in late September to CO, UT and the week I get back I'll be instructing at the Panhandle Overland Rally.

Stainless steel cover up plate of your design would work!
