Well, spring has finally come to Ontario and it is time to get back to work. I'm hoping to get started on sections of the cab in the near future.

The box was tucked away in a ShelterLogic tarp garage for the winter, but to my dismay and disappointment, the box has a significant amount of surface rust on it. There certainly were times with high humidity over the winter, and I checked regularly to ensure surfaces were dry, but a significant portion of the box has surface rust on it. I was under the impression that having it sandblasted and then epoxy primer that the metal would be sealed up and safe from rusting.
Was I wrong, or did the shop I used not do a sufficient job? I used a professional shop and paid the going rate (ridiculous) for the work because I don't have the space or equipment to do it, and now it looks like I might have to have it done again.
Would it be safe to clean up the rust with some rust remover and carry on, or should I wait until I am ready to have the cab blasted and do everything again. I don't want to start body work on the box if it's going to need to be blasted again.
The entire box except for the front wall and the corner posts are new metal. Very disappointing.

Thoughts on what would be the best course of action? I'm thinking I need to find a new paint shop :(
