Hi all,
So i have been chasing the vibrations in my lc j200 for quite a while but no luck.

There is vibration which is felt in the body, floor, steering (not wobble or shaking left to right)

The vibration is prominent betweem 120-130kph but subsides at 140kph ( still felt but very little) and then increases from 140-160kph

The tyres are new and well balanced (done road force balancing) the driveshaft is new, shocks are new ( both)

While driving at 140kph i shifted the gear from D to N and there still is vibration felt same as described. Same while coasting and decelerating from 140kph

The rim isnt bent, checked the same with 2 different tyre guys.

What should i be looking for????

Its a V6, 4.0l 2012 model auto trans j200

I wonder about wheel bearings. You’ve already checked off some common things and wheel bearings could cause a vibration.

Or driveshafts

Hmm…i was thinking about the same, but everyone told me that it would make some grinding noise…as of now no noise is there in low or high speeds

I guess i should have it checked

I had installed new driveshaft for front and rear… i double checked it for any play…did not find any issue

Have it balanced?

Wheel bearings can rumble, vibrate, click, or grind. The grinding is usually only after they are completely dry and eating themselves up.
