Looking for some w/s frame mounted mirrors.

Looks like I've found a soft top with two piece doors, so provided it gets here, I'll be needing to address the mirror issue.

thought I'd ad my list o' s*** to get rid of here. all going towards my winch fund.

Big Gay shackles. if you want to make your 40 bigger and gayer, then these are the shackles for you. have two different sets, so gay, you'd swear they came from calgary,( or owen sound now I guess.)

Really gay chrome thing that goes into receiver hitch and lights up. Seriously, it's really gay. If you want it, I'm not letting you come to my house.

Ruffstuff spring hangers for 60 series x4. the fixed ends only.

Random 40 series rear axle shafts, maybe even a 60 series.

42 Fuel Tank SkidPlate x2.

Birfs & Inners. ( have a bunch, more than I really need for spares. 40&60&70)

small running board supports that bolt to factory frame horns. From an early 40

same deal from 42

bj42 rear axle housing ( ebrake style)
old style 40 wiper motors . one good . one parts(works but it's kinda slow and sick)

Some kind of PTO winch, Tulsa brand, 8000lb . not sure what it's from, probably industrial, not automotive. has keyed input shaft. I may figger out a use for it....

Delta Abrasive Chopsaw
bunch of electric fans

Bj70 mirrors, stock bumpers, vent thingy for in front of windshield, mudflaps.

FSM's for gas 80 series. 93 fzj I think. Electrical too.

Anyone got a 60 series grab bar? OZ style? (metal)
Not a plastic 62 bar.

Any colour. any shape.

PM me.

Alright, so looks like my new soft top isn't going to show up, which is a bit of a pissoff. I held off doing anything with my doors and top because I'd have a soft top on there all summer and could take my time at it. So much for that.

. got my refund from paypal ( hows that for a surprize?) but frankly I'd rather have the top.

So, looking for a soft top in decent shape.

also all the dash pads for a 40 series.

i'll take your ruffstuff hangers if you still got em'!

Yep, still out there, cam was making some noises but nothing too serious I don't think...

It's just the fixed ends tho I didn't get the shackle ends.

Go ahead Dan. I was just going to hoard them anyway. :)

yup, that works, put them on my account would you, and i'll pick em' when i'm back, or when the shipping train rolls up and down the island.

hhmmm... nice to see i'm rubbing off on you! LOL

hey cam... your planning to buy a 42... you should buy my excess 40 stuff!

Like what? My plan is to get a 42 that doesn't need any parts( other than a turbo)

I'm starting to hunt up parts to install A/C into the 60. While I probably have to pay up for a 1HZ compressor, I figure most of the rest of a 60 series A/C system will go in. 24 V stuff preferred, but I can probably deal with 12V stuff.

Assuming the truck will run for more than a week, I figure I can lure my wife etc out in it for a summer road trip if it is comfy.

Also on the wish list, but there is no real money for:
rock/tree sliders
belly armour
and at some point installing the turbo i'm hoarding...

Chris

I don't think AC on a 60 is very common. At least not on Canada!
Perhaps a call to a southern us cruiser shop might be a good idea. John at Radd is another good option.
Being that any 60 system will be R12 a look for a Tacoma/ 4Runner system might be another option as R134a was introduced in late 1993.

Just some thoughts......

Happy hunting Chris!

yeah no worries, I'll move them 3cm to the left and call that particular spot in the junk pile yours.

Or, I may just forget about them entirely...:hillbilly:

and Cam...there's a reason that it's all the 40 and 42 owners doing the hoarding...

Haha... yup, he'll eventually figure it out!

AC was pretty common, both my HJ60's had it. Chris, i have a MOST of the system left from my last 60 if you're interested in piecing it together. I've got lines, condensor, compressor etc... let me know, come have a look.
Cheers!

Great i will bring
Going to Nanaimo on the 26th will pick up on the way up or down and will contact you closer to the 26th
