Hey guys what do you think? Does the inside of the motor look pretty good for its mileage.
Also if anyone is in need of a master tech in the Bay Area who won't bend you over backwards let me know!
Recently got front bearings replaced for $250 and rears for $200 I provided the parts, he's looked over my 80 for over 20 years.
Front timing cover seal and crankshaft seal were done for a great price too :)
Figured I'd help the community out, some of these shops are charging astronomical prices.

Which oil brand/viscosity/type have you used for the majority of the engine's life, ditto for the Oil filter ??

Have you or your mechanic used any type of engine/oil flushing chemicals and if so which brand and how often?

looks great. here is mine in Jan this year just short of 600,000kms

regular oil changes (penrite hpr30) I put it down to & OEM filters

15w-50 mobil 1 and the OEM toyota filter every 5k miles. No engine flushes or anything. Brand new it was using 20w50 I have every invoice since brand new.
