I don't have a drawing of it but I could make one real quick for you if you like, what is the diameter of cruiser axle tubes? 3.5" I think?

edit:
If I threw a few bucks at you would you make me a pair as well?

yeah thanks that would be awesome. i can make a few pairs. when you make the drawing could you send me the original so i can put it in the computer that controls the plasma cam? for the plasma i need the file in DXF. thanks. my email is jeffspicolli350@yahoo.com. im making it out of 3/8 plate. they have to have a 9/16" hole for the bolts. i don't know what you think they are worth so just make me an offer.

thanks

If your thinking about a low budget link set up have you thought about a one link. You only need on heim at the frame and then two for a panhard. It looks like they work pretty well and I can't think of a cheaper or simpler way to link the rear.

Not that I have done it.

oh ok i had no idea what they were worth. well ill jst build a set for myself then.

Cheap one link?

The greatest car maker in history did it....

Yeah, cause that is the newest technology out there too ;)

It worked

We as wheeliers definatly dont push the technology envelope.

However, that car did have turning headleights (about 70 yrs before Lexus) Supercharged strait eights (with front wheel drive)

You would be hardpressed to find me a car that I would rather have, from todays sea of plastic and computers made in china, assembled by disgruntled workers at 4pm on a friday.

BTW dont use leafs as links:flipoff2:

There are better options than a one link but a well set up onelink is a lot cheaper than any other link set up. If a link set up is desired on a strict budget why not.

1929 Cord L29?

Actually yeah your right. Now that I look at it. I thought it was Dusenburg. It was at the Auburn, Cord, Dusenburg museam.

I would have never known, but a guy I sit with here at work was looking over my shoulder and just pulled it out, "oh, that's a Cord..." he's not even a car guy. It started a huge "early front drive" google search...

Tech content: CruiserMan, you have received good tech in this thread, sprung over and a traction bar should provide lodes of flex and keep the budget in line. Any progress? Sorry for the HiJack.

yeah im just going to build a trac bar and call it good. this was all a side project i ahve bigger fish to fry now
