We have the largest base with nukes in the world in Cheyenne. Trust me, those are not nukes...they may be ICBM though with nothing inside of them.

Whenever the air force transports nukes, it's a huge deal. They're is usually about 50 armored humve's and a few Apaches flying overhead to make sure those puppies are secure. They will close the interstate for hours until they come and go. They are usually transported in a special trailer that takes a huge tractor to pull.

I have never seen active nukes transported by rail car...

When Canada buys Nukes from the US, we transport them on rusty old rail cars with no protection and covered by blue tarps. It's too cold for terrorists up here. And everyone thinks Canada doesn't have nukes anyhow. :p

I'm joking... :D The original poster was kidding too... As he pointed out it is simply a movie prop for some block buster filming happening near by.

My buddy who works for the RR over here said they looked really cool, too bad they covered them for the sea trip :(

They were doing a shoot down here in Victoria the other day on the narrowest part of the Gorge. Poor Godzilla had to swim right past our high tech sewer system, past the Legislature building(no life forms there to eat) past the empress but at $55.00 a plate for brunch he didn't stop there and then up the Gorge where he snacked on a few bums who sleep in the bushes there.
