Upgrading to 16" Wheels

I'm getting ready to purchase a 1992 Cruiser with a 4.2 Turbo Diesel. I'm in Kenya so the vehicle is RHD and was probably imported from Japan back in the day. I have two questions:

1. It has 15" wheels on it, but I will want to put 16" rims on immediately. Will there be any problems with upgrading to 16"?

2. It has the in-dash CDL switch, but when I push it, there is not indicator light. Does anyone know if there is an indicator for the CDL switch (I do get an indicator light when I lock front and rear diffs)? If there is supposed to be a light and it's not working, how can I tell if the diff lock is working short of jacking it up or driving in circles.

There is a light bulb that lights in your dash cluster to let you know that your CDL is engaged, more then likely you have a burn out bulb in your dash cluster, an easy fix. As to your question about the 16 inch wheels, if you install a set of factory aluminum 16 inch wheels from the 93 to 97 model year LC, you should have no problems. Oh i forgot to tell you something, the 93 to 94 wheel use's a cone style lug nut, the 95 to 97 use's a washer style lug nut, so check to make sure that all the wheels you buy use the same style of lug nut. When you buy your wheels, try to get all the lug nuts from the seller too, buying them from the dealership costs to much money, IIRC they are like 3, to 4 bucks each here in the states.
