Toyota. Moog is trash.

+1 on Toyota. I did the ones on the rear shaft about a year ago.

+1000 for OEM. I had Cruiser Outfitters overnight me a pair of OEM ujoints for the front driveshaft. Ordered at 10am and they were on my doorstep by 5pm the next day. Had a local shop remove the old ones (OEM w/230k+), reinstall new ones, took apart the yoke to clean & regreased the splines, and cleaned up and balanced the shaft for me. It eliminated A LOT of vibrations I was experiencing while under hard acceleration and braking. The needle bearings inside the ujoint cups were shot

What did they charge for the driveshaft rebuild and rebalance?

$75 if I paid cash, $80 for card. Gave them $80 cash and told them to keep the change. Dynamic Driveline, LLC in Little Rock, AR. Great group of people, highly recommend them.

If you're working on a 98-02, everything aftermarket either online like RockAuto or parts stores like AutoZone will try and sell you a u joint for the front shaft that won't fit. I know from wasting some time with the wrong one.. They will try and give you a u joint with 29mm bearing caps even though those shafts take a 28mm bearing cap. Only toyota makes that specific size so order it from cruiseroutfitters or toyota.

I have a lot of play in my front driveshaft. I got underneath earlier and I could twist the entire thing. Is this normal?

OEM only. I once used a GMB on my hilux (Part time 4WD). Within a year the U joint ended in trash. Went ith OEM and still as good as new. Do not use other brands, it will be a waste of money and time.
