Got the metal in for the new frame table

This is the frame table I am building. Big thanks to Kyle Kuhnhausen for his help in this. I contacted him and told him I'd like to duplicate his table. He agreed to use his designs and sndcutsend me a bunch of parts he had cut for his table. Check out his Instagram, he builds some really nice cars.

That is going to be badess!!

I'm looking for a handheld diagnostic scanner that can read transmission temps on my '09 Taco. I need to change the trans fluid and this requires the trans temp to be between a certain range. I have changed the fluid several times over the years by jumping two PIN connectors and watching the blinking A/T Temp light method. This method is tedious and I would like to know for sure what the trans temp is while doing this, plus have access to other diagnostic tools.
All of the sub $200 scanners mention that basic trans functions are possible but they don't mention trans temps specifically. I have not shopped the more expensive scanners.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a scanner that reads trans temps?

I see that you can download Techstream but I don't have a laptop and it was unclear to me if that program read trans temps.

For what it's worth Scanguage II (common Toyota guy accessory in case someone has one to borrow) can be programmed to read trans temps - you can find the manual code entry online and set it as a display option. I had it set up in my old 100 series, but sold the gauge with it.

I'm like a kid at Christmas! All my laser cut parts came in from Sendcutsend.com. 12 ACME 1"-8 36" threaded rod. i can not wait to get the Mercedes on this thing :)

Fabricators, check out Sendcutsend.com If you can draw it in 2D on a CAD layout that works for them, they can cut, bend, tap holes etc.. Enlarge that photo and figure out how long it would take you to make those parts in your shop. Almost all of it is 1/4" plate. All the small holes in the square plates and the oval plates are tapped.

Nice. I used them to cut a hall sensor ring I tacked to the T case parking brake drum for a digital speedometer signal. Very easy process and reasonable prices.

Ramon, I am in the beginning stages of looking for software. What are you using?

Fusion 360. It's a little tricky in how you have to build the part and then convert it to "sheet metal" to output a file format that is SendCutSend compatible, but not too bad once you get the hang of that. I will say, I've only done flat parts so far, but my time investment wasn't huge to get to that point and was fun.

Fusion 360 is one of the programs at which I am looking. I'm not thrilled that it is a yearly lease type arrangement and everything is stored on the cloud, not my computer.

Unfortunately, that's how everything is going. I work at an engineering firm and our last desktop software program sunsets this December... we'll be 100% software as a service after that 😕

Get a used copy of Vellum. All you need and it's on your harddrive. I've used every design software there is; they all suck. I have old copies of Inventor and Solidworks I don't even use.

Finally making the plunge into a rooftop conversion for my Troopy. Any recommendations on shops in the CLT area that have experience installing either Alu-Cab or Alu-Innovations pop ups?

I thought main line was a dealer and certified installer for Alu cab at least.

Wiring up a winch cutoff switch. I think i have it narrowed dow to two options. Blue sea is continuous 300amp FR is 500. There will be a 300amp MRBF on the battery terminal. Any thoughts, experience with either, or other suggestions?
