How’s it going guys,

Had a little problem with my 80. It went to the trans shop and they discovered the “TV Cable” is what is was called is broken. The truck has over 350k on it so…

The part number they gave is discontinued. Is there anyone else you recommend me getting this part from: 35520-60140

It also helps if you post your year, model, engine, and transmission, as some are discontinued and some are not. Also may be able to source overseas.
 
Gunna have to go the custom cable route, junkyard searching, or find a rare NOS for sale on ebay. I just searched on ebay and there's none.

Call them and make sure they actually have it, sites like that sell parts they don't actually have and don't say anything for weeks if not longer, or not at all until you inquire.

Check the "discontinued" thread. If OGBeno posted it's discontinued, then no one anywhere will have it unless you find a private hoarder willing to sell.
