Tuttle Creek, Memorial Day weekend '13

Just extending an invite from some Zuks of KC guys.
They are planning on wheeling at Tuttle Creek in Manhattan, KS over the Memorial Day weekend. BTW, Memorial Day is May 27th this year. Most will be there May 25-27th. Some of them will probably show up Friday the 24th. They camp on the west side of Fancy Creek campground, located in Fancy Creek state park.

From Hwy 16, go north on 4th St/Gardiner Rd, then the first right that goes east (not the first right that goes south), then first left. There is a loop in the road (doesn't show the loop on the map, for some reason, but if you view it in satellite view, you can kinda see the loop), Yeah that’s where they camp, in the middle of the loop.

I (didn't realize this but) requested leave 20-24 May 2013. I wonder what will pop-up between now and then? Military/Murphy = Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong.

What I also failed to realize is the Wife has plans that she can’t quite tell me about for that weekend. I asked her about Memorial Day weekend and I got a, “Yeah, well I thought, ……”
That’s where it sits, as of now.

Tempted as well... I have a buddy who is also interested we haven't decided on a date yet. We'd most likely camp sat night and come home Sunday.

Looks like I have to go to the Lake of the Ozarks over Memorial Day weekend. "All work and no rocks makes me a dull boy"

Plans are in the works for a buddy from Springfield and I to be there. We thought about private parks around the region like Wheelin World, Washita and Flat Nasty, but settled on Tuttle Creek because its cheap and close to me. It'll be our first time out there.

How rough is Tuttle? My 80 is stock for now and curious how it would do at Tuttle. I plan on having a lift on it before I head back out to Colorado this summer but most likely won't have it on there before Memorial Day.

^^ jealous! I have to work Saturday and Monday! At least I get double pay Monday but I would rather be camping and wheeling!
