Sooo….. its been a while, I think November was our last meet up. Anyone interested in trying to get something going for April? I am good for a meet up or a trail run and camping.

Hey guys, I haven’t been involved in any meets or trail rides with CSC before, but would like to get more involved. Down for trail rides, camping, MTB rides, etc.
Any idea what areas you’d like to explore or camp?

We’ve got a stock ride height GX470 with a camping buildout inside so I’m down for a day trip and some trails or an overnight or whatever really. Me, my gf and our dog normally go on weekend trips around AZ, and New Mexico exploring, but we’re not originally from the area so looking to meet up/cruise with people locally.
I MTB like every weekend day. But nothing super techincal or drops. What riding do you do?
Nothing too crazy, got a couple of hardtails and like to ride fantasy island after work mostly. Looking to explore some trails on the west side at some point.
Sweetwater is good. So is Tortolita preserve. 50 year trail is fun too.
Honeybee is good too. Upper 50, middle gate and gem if you like a bit of tech.
So we need to just establish a date and stick to it. 16th, 23rd, and 30th are the rest of the Saturdays this month not including this weekend.
I would be good for the 23rd. But i am flexible. I would prefer a trail run and camping.
If everyone would post thier preferences we can do a majority deal and go with that.
We could also do a trail run one day and a meetup another just to make sure everyone is included somehow. The goal is max participation to get our club a jumpstart again.

23rd works for me. I agree trail + camping. But open to your second suggestion.
I’m new to CSC and would like to meet some other members. I can do a day trip, without overnight camping. Weekends for me are hit or miss, so just pick a date and I’ll try to attend.
A meet up on a weeknight would work for me, preferably at a brewpub.

I’m open to any trails within 3-4 hours if we’re camping. I’ve done a bit of Redington and some areas to the south including Gardner Canyon, but I mostly head north up into Tonto. Not sure what is involved with leading. I’m down to help plan or discuss options if you have any favorite trails or new areas you’d like to check out.
By trail lead I meant more of a planning type thing. Just want to make sure there is someone familiar with the location thats in the group. I also have done some reddington and trails in sonoita area and had a good time every time.
