Just kidding of course. I'm sure it's worth a decent amount of money to the right person. I wouldn't pay more than a couple thousand for it, but I don't really want or need one.

Edit: Also the parts for those diesels are getting pretty scarce... Just something to think about.

hard to say, there was a mint mini truck that went for high dollars a while ago, but in comparison it was a pinch newer with much less mileage, though the diesels are hard to come by in that vintage.

Id ballpark that around 5-6000, just cause its mint and a diesel. Though I suspect you'll get much higher and much lower estimates from other folks.

edit: with that type of mileage I could really use one for a DD. My cummins 80 isnt even close to half that.

I know the truck you are referring to, I almost bought that 83 in Salina KS that had 5000 miles on it. It ended up selling for 10K and then that buyer put it on eBay and got $20K for it. This truck is priced at $9500 which I would say is too high for a 2WD truck that is 30 years old.

ya, the mileage is what added so much to the price I reckon...

That thing is pretty clean, is that motor the L or 2L?

Something like that I think is kind of hard to put a value on. As a clean low mileage and uncommon diesel truck with exceptional mileage, sure, but a few miles down the road when some needed maintenance, a couple door dings or some rust and then the price drops considerably, but the usefullness of the the vehicle is pretty much the same. :meh:

What are you wanting to see for a price on it? Im assuming your looking to sell it?

An 82 is probably going to be an L. My dad has an 83 with an L in it. It is his DD and he gets low to mid 40s on the interstate, BUT he won't run the AC (yes it has factory AC, no power steering but AC) in the summer because it pulls soo much power from the little motor.

As others have mentioned, and as I can comment on first hand, parts are getting VERY hard to come by. It cost my dad over $700 to have the fuel pump rebuilt (just new seals and gaskets too) and the guy told him he was lucky that it only needed a little work because certain parts for the pump were nearly impossible to come by anymore. He ordered some new glow plugs and the parts guy he was talking to told him there were only 9 left in the US, and he bought 3 of them.

I personally would love to have it or any diesel Toy, but the older models are going to soon become unrepairable and will be just pretty yard ornaments.
