For the FZJ80 with the A343F or A442F transmissions the amount needed (between the HOT marks) is very similar.
Being in Australia you have the A442F (mentioned earlier)
Engine running, Trans in Park, fluid at 70–80°C / 158–176°F, on level ground:
Important to check the transmission fluid with a fully warmed up engine, say 15-30 minutes of easy driving, park on a level surface,
leave engine idling, run the shifter through all the gear positions for a couple of seconds each then put the shifter in PARK, pull dipstick (Oil Gauge), wipe it off with a clean lint free rag or paper towel (remove any bits of cloth/paper that might get stuck on the stick), reinsert, remove dipstick, hold stick slightly tip down to read the level.
The level does not have to be exactly up to the top mark, better to be slightly below than above, so maybe add half of what you think you need and recheck after a drive.
If you're going to do a drain and fill (IME) the amount that comes out varies depending on which transmission and how long you let it drain.
