hello all, i am new to this forum. i have browsed this forum for 2 days and it is one of the most informative forums i have seen so far. but back onto subject.

is there any companies out there that makes troopy body panels? ive found parts for the fj45 and fj40 but nothing on the troopy body. i am thinking about trying to do a troopy on a newer frame like a tundra or a land cruiser some time down the road. i am in the research steps right now. the tundra frame is 10" longer and the land cruiser frame is 4" shorter. i would like to widen the body of the troopy that is why i would rather not chop up an original. i think it looks much more proportional for such a long body to be wider than the original width. the insipration was Rod Millen and his rendition of the lv.

I saw the troopy body at Specter in person. It looks like it was T-boned. I about sh*t when Marv told me how much he wanted for it. I would think one would be better off buying a complete rig, parting out what you don't need vs. buying that body from Marv.

thanks guys. seems that Pilgrim's is the way to go if I don't do the work myself. they seem reasonably priced also.
cruiser_guy, do you work for Pilgrim's or are you their importer? and do you know if they have copies of the trooper body already done before and jigged up other than that example you have in the vendors thread of it being hand made?

Here is a picture of another one. This one has an 1HZ diesel and 5 speed and I believe it's heading stateside. My FJ45LV is the reason for the picture so I was not trying for pictures of the troopy. Look at the second picture down.

Have you seen the fat '40 thread as well? https://forum.ih8mud.com/hardcore-corner/339464-fat-40-very-hummerish.html

He has been doing sheet metal for years with his crew. If it needs to be formed in sheet metal he can do it!

I try to flog some stuff but the economy is pretty crappy for toys right now. Once I head out to Africa in the new year I won't be doing as much.
