Great little trailer, a friend had one back east. I wouldn't think you'll have any problems towing with your 3B, just take it easy!

Congrats!

That is a wicked little video. 'SWB' camper trailer FTW!

Although if I were doing that I'd put some bigger tires and some form of sliders under it. :D

You are right on the money, I have already drawn up a sketch for some sliders slash roof rack:idea:

cool.

That awning and room that the dude on the mainland sells works really well on the short trailers.

Have one on our Boler.

Doubles your space pretty much...

Cool, gots a link?

Nice wheeling! We just picked up a Trillium too... 2004 model! Definitely have to figure out some sort of axle flip or something to get more clearance...

Droool, was looking at the newer units, price tag was out of my bugget..

Another trailer I was following was the Casita 16foot and 17foot, so awsome...http://www.casitatraveltrailers.com/ordering.html..

Thinking axle flip and widening the wheel wells? Maybe my 33s with fit in the stock well..

Ya I got the deal of the century. Cheaper than a lot of the older units I was looking at. Snatched it up the moment I spied it on craigslist :D :D

I don't know what to do about the axle... If you figure out something easy let me know :P I don't see how flipping it will actually increase clearance with the torsion axle. I think I need to cut the bracket and turn the casing so the starting angle is greater...? Or just get a different axle. Somewhere online I saw torsion axles with splines so you can adjust the starting angle...

I spaced mine down 3" with some rectangular tubing. Then went to 15" rims instead of the wheelbarrow tires that were on it. Prob got 5" out of it.

Added bonus of beefing frame. Stock torsion axle kinda blows but I was too cheap to change it out.

It'll tow fine with the 42...I've towed mine with my freakin lawnmower ....

:beer:Got my little old trailer back almost ten years later..

That is a really nice trailer! Looks great with the 42 in front. Yup, a bigger drop hitch to level it, or lift the camper somehow. I like the lift the camper idea. :D

Ya I saw that one for sale recently! Nice score, Triple E from Winkler, MB. I think they are quite well made. Love that SurfSide logo too!

Love the trailer. If you cold get it up about 4-6 inches the whole thing would be level.

I now understand spuds simple lift, it will get prolly 6 inches...simple blocker between axle mount and frame.

They do look good together, thanks..

My buddy threw it up Monday after not hearing back from me, he sold it back to me for what I sold it to him. 2500.00 He owns Arbutus music here in town, I heard tell he worked with bands like Rush checking equipement and soundchecking.. Still does a ton of recording in his off time... He has something like 20 music teachers at the store.. Super nice guy..

Did I mention he is a cruiserhead with a hdj81:hillbilly:

Yeah, that block lift was pretty easy. I made my spacers pretty long just because of how flimsy those stock frames are. Can't hurt.

We're going up to CR for a wedding pissup next weekend so figgered it was time to finally paint over that nasty green that was on it before.

Tremclad "hammered" finish. Turned out pretty well, for being rolled on with foamies.

Not sure why they insist on you being hammered in order to apply the paint, but who am I to question the instructions?:beer:
