Mike says the final price is $800 CAD for the whole 2 drawer setup minus the custom work for the hi-lift and tabletop (that would be extra if you wanted it).

Wow, competitive pricing too!

I'm saving up, gotta decide how high I want my drawer setup. Gotta have enough room for all my junk plus two dawgs.

Yep, and that includes install too if you visit him at his shop in Vic. Let him know how you want it, and he'll build to your design

Looks great and also light what is the weigh 80lbs?

Update: new handles are in. (thanks Mike) They are basically the same shape/design, but are one piece molded and very sturdy. Mike also at my request added a screw down thing on the top of the back flap, to ensure it wouldn't open in an accident and release the hi-lift parts. The handle has the bolt piece attached which goes through the lid and screws down into a nutsert.

I also found roll out sold by-the-foot rubber matting from Princess Auto. 3 feet nicely did both drawers! Cost was $15.

I installed my Puma OBA as well. I separated the components, had custom hoses made from a local shop, installed the tank in the right side flip up panel compartment and bolted the tank to the inside of the box. I also put dual air chucks - one on either side of the box - accessible simply by opening either rear door and plugging the hose in. Very handy and kept it inside the vehicle.

I installed the compressor itself bolted down to the box and the pressure switch up in the front compartment with the hi-lift. I drilled holes through the side for the compressor inlet and all hoses. I've kept an eye on the temperature inside there when using the compressor, even after airing up 8 tires with the seat fully up it doesn't get very warm. I'm happy with it, but if needed can install a couple 12V computer fans and power them by the same circuit that powers the compressor.

I also installed a 150amp relay in the engine bay, triggered by a switch on my new https://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-tech/603947-switch-panel.html . This cuts the power off in the engine bay so I can leave the pressure switch in the ON position and control power to the OBA from my dash. (instead of having to pull the seat down to gain access)

It's been over a year now; How have these drawers held up? Anything you would change now that you've had it for awhile?
Quality looks excellent and price is very reasonable.

Sorry I missed your post.

The drawers have held up perfectly. I haven't had any issues with them at all. If I were to re-design it, there are a couple things (personal) that I would change...

1. While the slide out table is useful, and cool, the extra depth in the 2nd drawer would be MORE useful. The tailgate and a cutting board could always do the same job.

2. Better handles. These ones have held up, but the problem is there's nothing (other than when it's locked) to stop the drawer from sliding out when you open the tailgate on a hill. A proper latch would be better. (even though they cost more)

3. I -may- have put rubberized material on the top instead of carpet. The carpet has held up just fine, but I find I am always putting down a dog blanket or whatnot when loading stuff in there... be it a soaking wet dog, or a bag of soil, or whatever.

4. The 3 stainless bolts holding the entire box to the floor of the rig needed STOVER nuts... not regular nylock. The nylock loosened themselves over time because there never was constant pressure on them, since the carpet in the bottom of the truck always put a bit of play between the box and the floor of the truck.

It's only special if you're from the states and you're in Canada, and you are under the spell of the awesomeness of this wild, mysterious land

That's when I had my first one:beer:

Bingo. It's like Red Stripe when you're in Jamaica. Nothing special... but when it's 5,000 degrees and you're roasting on a bench and it's icy cold and being handed to you for free... :hhmm:
