x2, thanks for reviving the thread, Chris! Everyone is probably still in "winter" mode as far as this expedition goes, but I am eager to see where those batons go! At this point, the surrogate baton from @GA Architect and @sggoat will be "the" baton moving forward, representing!

cheers

Speaking of decals, I need to pay someone for one. Who?

There should have been stickers in the Baton-plus an envelope for payment-no?
If you need one, I could send you the one I have, nc

I met with @graham5david in Las Cruces, NM yesterday and moved baton #2 to Pinos Altos, NM
Temps along the I-10 corridor were pushing 100 and my engine temps were pushing 230. Radiator was leaking this morning so will try to have it fixed this week as I have to go to Tucson for a funeral. From here it will go to Phoenix via @SOAZtim. Meet up tbd after cooling system fixed. First picture is of a rock formation above the Santa Rita mine east of Silver City,NM called the kneeling Nun
Next is big roadrunner west of Las Cruces, then pics of the meet up and handoff
All witnessed by @decavo of Las Cruces. Hand off was on the bank of the Rio Grande River

Very cool!! Truck is good to go. I just wish it wouldn't be 110f for a few days!
Edit: to say, damn Pinos Altos looks beautiful.

Don't think Wiley Coyote ever ran across this one--he would have retired to hunting rabbits--

2 inch OME and 31s. Good eye Troy! Mine isn’t super charge, but I do have a bottle opener on the rear bumper that I installed right after purchase..... everyone has different priorities....
