Transmission wont budge!

I am taking out the tranny on my 89 4runner v6 4x4 5spd and I have all the bell housing bolts and brackets removed, crossmember removed, I have a chiltons and a haynes work manual and have done all the steps. I am trying to pull it back and out, it just wont come...Any suggestions?

Removed the starter?

Removed the bolts that go in from the front?

Removed the two big bolts at the top?

Pulled the shifters out?

Removed the little cover plate at the bottom of the bellhousing?

Tried a prybar?

I didnt feel that I needed to remove the starter so I left it, why does it need to come off? Ill try it...

I just wanted to add that I have hated every minute of the 9 hours I spent under my truck today trying to get this sh*t out from under it....

I just ran outside barefoot to look under my truck, and I am a flippin idiot, I see why the starter has to come out now and you should just disregard my question. I see it as a learning experience...

Make sure you disconnect the battery before pulling the starter!

No your not, Toyota though another 50 bolts would better hold the BH to the motor,,,,,,only thing is the bolts that go in from the front are usually smaller and over time dirt and grime camouflage them.............ASK MUD HOW WE KNOW!!!
