Transmission solenoids 1993 TLC

So I checked my kick down cable and may have found the answer. Its sticking badly! Any throttle opening, the cable doesn’t retract. Am trying now to find the other end to try and lubricate or whatever to free it up. I’m guessing you guys would say this maybe my issue? Oh issue is, not shifting or shifting way too late.

I'd say this is the issue, yep. Other end is in the transmission, drop the pan to access.
