Before I take my LC to the stealership I thought I would post here first. I have a 2015 LC with approximately 48k miles, bought at 25k miles. Previously owner did tow a camper, don't know how many miles. Anyways, when I reverse the truck and shift to drive, it's delayed for 2 seconds and I feel a little jerk when it engages. At around 30K I changed the oil in the front, rear differentials and transfercase. I had a 100 series, and greasing up the driveshaft seem to help. But I feel this is different. The trucks shifts through the gears smoothly otherwise. Do you think I need to do a transmission flush, or is the fluid low? Or is my transmission going bad due to previous owners lack to care. I appreciate any input. Thanks

Are you still rolling backwards when you put it into drive? Does it do it if you come to a complete stop then shift to drive?

My LX does this to at times. I did a complete flush of the fluid and changed the filter and it still does this. It also clunks pretty bad when it's cold out into reverse, but based on what others have said this seems to be a common issue. I have been trying to ignore it.

I too occasionally get a very slight lag between R and D, maybe a half second to fully engage after hitting the 'D' detent.

I know when the Chargers were first put into the police motor pools they had a big problem with a several second R-D lag. Not good for an emergency vehicle. In this case it was due to a built in timeout to allow for spinning shafts so wind down and prevent grinding. Wondering if this isn't something similar in the AB60F?

I am at a complete stop when this happens. I'm not going to have the dealer do anything since there is possibility that they can make things worse. Would updating the software for the transmission do anything?
