I have a friend that has 92 that has been converted to straight axle.
we were talking today and he said he only ran hoses from his diffs to
higher ground.
I told him I thought there was 2 more trany and t-case.
he said he didnt see them when he dropped the trans to add another Tcase

Am I all wet? If they are there approx where would they be located?

Nope. no breathers, and having pulled the shifters off of several trannys a few dozen times over the past couple of weeks, I can tell you it's not a tight fit on those little rubber booties, they breath thru them.

The tranny & transfer in my FJ62 had breathers just like the axles, but that was because they were sealed, no direct shifters stabbed into them.

hey i have done this take your console around the shifter off and remove the floor plate with the big rubber boots, assuming you have no big oil burning off the manifold or exhaust leaks you will get that nice gear oil smell in your rig. warning this is an acquired smell and will make you a little sick to the stomach.
