Awww...come on, bench pressing trannies with one arm is fun! :hillbilly: Just kidding; looks good. I'll be making one of those next time I have to drop a trans.

Don't make one, borrow this one... I would lend it to anyone in the cruiser crowd...maybe even mini truck guys..

Thanks man. Hoping I won't have to do any trans work any time soon...but will take you up if the times comes.

We'll hold you to that... Hopefully it'll never be me... :D

Worked better than I expected, install went way smoother than I thought it would, little adjuster in the front makes leveling it easy..

Might throw a couple quessets on it for heavier tannies, bit over all it did not flex or bend..

Most was made of it was made out of hot rolled sheet 12Gauge, couple thou under a eighth and some 10 gauge... Little finger brake bent up the parts pretty easy..

Broke a few pieces for the sides and found them to be to high and got in the way, I will revamp the sides with some hooks to ratchet strap it secure and maybe make a curv front type of saddle..

Sure beats a rope, 2x4, and 2 arms... Like I did the last time... Back when I was young, foolish, and invincible.:D

I remember laying in gravel on my back holding a rwd corolla (relatively light weight) trans with my knees and hands trying to slide the input shaft into the clutch plate, and then turn some bolts in while still holding the back of the trans with my knees. Haha...I think I like Cruiserman's method better.

I was thinking of welding an old tranny mount to a jack help with this, and then just slammed it together in the usual crude manner.

Nice job on thread title by the way.

You certainly got Cam's attention....:flipoff2:

First off.... go *uck yourself. Secondly, I did almost search for an appropriate picture but then realized I'd have to view the results. Kinda caught myself there.

Clearly I wasn't the only one.
