I know that this is a 60 Im talking about here but no one will answer me on the 60 forum so please bear with me.
When I try to start my 60 after doing a swap of the engine the thing wants to lurch even with the clutch disengaged. I bled the system and replaced the slave cylinder and i can confirm that the clutch is seperating from the fly wheel. when the truck is not running it will smoothly shift through all gears. Is it possible that the pilot bearing got damaged in the engine swap? Oh and I used a clutch alignment tool as well.

Either the clutch is not releasing or the pilot bearing is frozen. Did you adjust the clutch?

clutch disk in backwards??? would cause those symptoms

my clutch is has a hydraulic system so there really isnt a way to adjust it. I did bleed it out and replaced the slave cylinder though.

Cluth Fork Throw.

Hi Bridge,

I suspect that you clutch fork throw is not long enough, no allowing the clutch to become disengaged. Had this problem once and used a longer rod in the slave to take up the slack allowingsome extra movement.

Good luck....
