umm this should be re-thought. If we are being hosts to people from alberta and washington, we should show them a little more excitment than a camp site that a civic can get to.

I agree as well. We do have some great trails to explore... lets give'em something to remember and talk about 'round the campfire - for years to come..

Ya the whole idea is to show other crusiers whats out there and to make this whole event a memorable one so people will be looking forward to next year.I don't know the west side of Harrison, but if it offers some good wheelin (the east side doesn't) then west it is.

I won't be going (have to work Sunday), but if you want to do "any" wheeling, you have to go on the west side. You can drive a Rabbit up the east. I also agree, much more time wasted on the east.

Im headding out to wilson/chehalis Lk this up comming weekend. Then takeing the trail into inch creek on sunday. Im thinking this would be a good option for cruiser days. Anyone interested in comming?

Cool. Those were the areas we had planned for last year, and did some exploring around. Going through my weekend rotation at work, so so don't have any weekend days till Aug 5th.

Don't count on a campfire at the camping. With that fire burning on the east side of Harrison, and all this dry weather...if the ban has not already started it will soon I would think.

There was a campfire ban last year as well, and we just sat around a lamp. It wasn't too bad.

Didn't my Tiki Torches make it out last year, and they were placed in a circle...? I dinna recall clearly, as I was working...but I think Petra took them out?

Ya, we all will adapt.

Garry C and myself went and bumbled along the Dickson Lk. trail yesterday. It was quite a nice drive.Great scenery some good obstacles, nothing really hard-core but newbies would find it challanging. Also it's a good warm-up to the can-opener which is just a short bumble away.

went through hale creek ,20 mile bay , then on to chehalis . and the fire marshal was out putting out the fires in the forest service sites on the weekend . stopped at the spot where you camped last year (chehalis).no one camping there .but a ton of people shooting the rapids on there air matresses , dingy's and canoes looked fun . mosqito's where a (biach) at hale creek.

I vote for West Harrison/Chehalis Lake; I want Jim to try the canopener;)
Just giver!

Are you going to push me home?

Unless you have your 4.11's in there, I think the only way you'd make it up the cannoppener is if you started your run down in mission, and didn't let your foot off the gas till you made it to the top!:flipoff2:

Be fun to see a few rigs on a couple of challenging trails on Sunday. There's a few mini truck guys opening trails in that area. Locations are not advertized, however I think Dan knows a few of them. Maybe we can talk them into showing the crew where they are, and watching some LC's bash around. If not, there is can opener, and 6' under...and what else up there Dan? On these two trails anyway, folks can park and walk...watching the excitment.

Ya I know most of those guys. But those trails are in sylvester RD and I think you have the only truck that might even come close to making it through

In the middle of a 24hr right now. Off Wed morning, through to Sat. Wed is booked already. What are you thinking?
