July 25th (fri). Local Run to Miller Heep or Silverwood lake TBA.

Let me know if you're in.

You talkin' Cleghorn? or as i like to call it "CLEGHAMMER"? LOL or Silverwood lake trail AKA "PILOT ROCK"?

Both are good times.

We are headed out tomorrow AM, so there's no way i can swing another Friday off in the same month. Have fun whichever trail you run. All three are good.

I'm a maybe. milller sounds fun.

I'm leaning toward miller, it's been a while since I have run the heep trail.

I have never done Miller before - I am a maybe.

The 25th will most likely work for me.

...dang, out of town. Sounds fun though. Take pics. Dan.

Crazy that I will be in CA that day.... However I will be headed up the central coast that day for a wedding on Sat, if those times change tho... You know you can count me in!

I hope you can make it. It's been a few years since I've seen you on the trail.

I am out of town that weekend. Take lots of pics and make sure I get to be jealous!

Okay guys: Friday July 25th, Miller Heep Trail. Meet at the Fraiser Park exit at the "Flying J's" off the 5 Freeway at 9am. See you there. If you have never run a local trail and do not have sliders and appropriate tires please contact me if you are considering attending. I am a Huge proponent for getting out and wheeling, but I need to be fair to everyone on the run and need to know where you and your rig stand.

I don't mean to be a schmuck, but what's the plan for that day? I gotta be at work at 16:00, and if I can cut out in the early afternoon, I'd definitely be in.

What say ye?

I've run lots of local trails. I've got a nicely running 96 with 3" OME lift, 285 TA/KOs, factory lockers, ARB bumper. No sliders, but all plastic (running boards, mud flaps, fender flares, etc.) have been removed.

What's the rating on this trail? If this is the trail I'm thinking of, I might have done it before. I honestly don't remember.

Ye Say that typically if we start at 9am we are done by about 2pm which leaves you about 2 hrs to get to work, BUT that is assuming no breaks, fewer than 10 rigs, and minimal play time in the OHV rock garden/park (but that is after the trail ends). You can weigh your options Shahram joon.

Trail is not tough, but I'm comparing to the Rubicon since that is what I ran last. *Someone else who has run miller might want to chime in on that.* I will also say that I have done it in an unlocked, unlifted, open diff 80 in the past. I think you will be just fine so long as you take the high lines and pay attention, but no biggie if you get a few scratches and dings here and there.:flipoff2:

Shahram,

With your lift and tires you should be fine. Only time I ran Millers (with Sam) I had no lift and 285's. Bent the stock running boards (nice warning system - and good excuse for sliders!) and that was it. Not being as well set up as Sam, I'd chime in and say you'll be fine with a 3" lift.
