I was lucky enough to go to the Torrance corporate office where they have a private collection of all kinds of Toyotas. They're moving a lot of them to the new location in Texas. The two pristine 2000gt cars were gone as were the supras.
Take some pictures and thought I'd share for others to geek out like I was.
This first one I've seen in some magazines it's got a V8 NASCAR pushrod high horsepower engine as you can see in the description sheet in the picture

Very cool!

All I can say is wow. What an experience. Thanks for sharing.

Leno?

The Celica GT reminded me of my first and last Toyota - until the FJ. The Celica GT I purchased new had a tire balance problem, the Toyota dealer refused to put them on a balancer, and when I elevated my concern the Toyota zone manager agreed with the dealer and told me I should have purchased a Mercedes. That was 1978. They got the car back same day; bank backed me up and Toyota bought the car back at full purchase price.

Very Jealous! Any chance for a CSC group tour???

Thanks for sharing. Some of the cars reminded me of my time in Japan. Again thank you for sharing your experience with us.

Thanks for posting these pics.

Awesome pics and what an experience!

That stout is bad a
This has to be the ugliest/coolest truck I have ever seen. I want one!

I agree think the Stout is the coolest of their truck/SUVs in their private collection. Sorry but the Miller Group collection put Toyota USA's private collection to shame. Have a couple in my garage that would seem to be worthy of Toyota private collection. Forty-five years owning my first one feel like that chorus from a Shania Twain song "that don't impress me much". Some of the rest of the collection look really cool. Wish back in the mid seventies would have bought a Celica ST instead of a Monte Carlo. Good chance would still own it as the Monte Carlo is long gone and not missed.

Sounds like since the move from CA to TX for Toyota USA HQ in 2017-18 , the best stuff has already been moved there. A year too late haha

I had a 77 Monte Carlo, also very bad a. But the stouts are incredibly japanese, and there were a few for sale on CL, but incredibly expensive, and they do not have 4x4 capacity.
