Shopping at Bass Pro today. Needed some targets and kill some time.

So I got on a ferry after this, and met a fellow JDM enthusiast / importer machinist gearhead and sat on the car deck discussing how to get parts and trucks from Australia and Japan. He apparently been walking around 60 at BassPro while I was inside. So new contact made, Kelly lives in Pt Alberni so road trip soon to check out his shop.

thanks for the mention, Jon! Was great to meet you and chat over Land Cruiser stuff. Sadly I’m not a red seal machinist, just a welder, fabricator, aircraft design guy- but if anyone needs ideas for logistics or repair parts I’ll do my best to source em!

I've got pretty packed weekend, and I hope end of next week to come up with the Troopy. J
