Hi, sorry to bring back this post. I bought a '77 BJ40 a couple months ago, it has an awfull jeep style bar installed, and I want to transform it into somthing kind the original one. Could you post some pics of the mounting point of the bar, and some reference distances?These are from my '77 FJ40 roll bar, D would be longer if the BJ42 hardtop is longer.
A = 21"
B = 7"
C = 7"
D = 19"
E = 9-1/2"
F = 11"
The outside-to-outside width of the main cross bar is 59".
I'll try to put something together tomorrow, along with photos. My '76 doesn't currently have the roll bar installed, so the photos of the mounting locations should be pretty clear.Hi, sorry to bring back this post.
