Yeah I have it got it a while ago not sure which version it is though whether its 2002 or not. I'll check it tonight, had to search through 160gig to find it couldn't remember where I put it, hehe

Once I check it out I can burn you a dvd if you like and send it to you.

EDIT: I just checked the version I have its for Euro thru to 2002 and Japan to 2000, I guess its the same torrent these guys are getting.

Quick update...

The version I have obtained appears not to include the live axle 105 series models... in case anyone was curious.

It won't run?

Thanks to Andrew for the EPC download. Even in zipped format, it is a big file!

Anybody have any suggestions for me, a computer illiterate? Program starts, but won't run.

I've followed the directions in the readme file, but can't get the program to go beyond the setup screens, asking which drive to install data, program, how many CD drives, etc.

It stops when it asks how many Cd drives. I reply 1 (has to be 1 to 9), then it asks the name of the CD, I reply D (also tried C). Then it says insert CD in D (or C) drive and press F10. I don't have a copy on CD, so I press F10. Nothing happens.

I'm starting it by clicking a win95 executable file. Computer is a 1.5ghz PC w/ WinXP.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Jim.

You need to unzip the files and put them on CD, the program won't run direct from the hard drive until you have the CDs, then load them onto the hard drive as part of the setup. In the zip file there should be a file that tells you what to name the CDs. They need to be named correctly otherwise the program won't recognise them.

I thought the version that required burning to CDs is the two large files from the yankeetoys.org site?

The readme that came with this file said only to run setup.exe, then copy the three folders to the root C:/ directory. Which I've done 2 times now.

If I can't get this version to work, I might try the 2 YT disc downloads.

Jim,

The version you got from me is the DVD version I guess. I also have the older version if you are interested, but that version has an aversion to installing on large sized harddrives so it is a little more tricky than the version you already have. I am currently installing this on my office computer so I will tell you what I had to do in addition to what the readme file says.
