Howdy,

For all who don't already know, on Saturday, October 27th, 2007, there will be a party at the Toyota Museum in Torrance, CA from 10 am to 5 pm to commemorate Toyota's 50th anniversary in the United States.

There will be food, guest speakers from Toyota, local press and lots of Land Cruisers! Toyota America is asking that everyone who owns a Land Cruiser, and who is interested in attending, to show up with your rig to form the largest group of Land Cruisers ever assembled.

Here's the Toyota Museum's website: www.toyota50th.com

Here's the address:

19001 S. Western Ave.
Torrance, CA 90509

For more info, please email me at jphillips@riversidelab.com or contact the Toyota Museum curator, Susan Sanborn, at (310) 468-4728 (email: susan_sanborn@toyota.com)

Best regards and we hope to see you and your cruiser there,

Jason Phillips

Thanks for the heads up, I will have to see about making it up there.

More Cruisers than at S&T? I doubt it, but I'd would like to be there.
Why don't they extend the celebrations a week and join the fun at Pismo?

We should probably send Susan the link to SnT and see how she responds.

Darn!!! I used to live about 1.5 miles from there....now only about 2280 miles.

We planning on being there supporting our home town and toyota

Should be the biggest cruiser gather by far, heck there hundreds just in the Toyota employee lots in the general vicinity? Must have seen ~ 100 FJ's last time I went by.

anyone else?
I wanna go, there's sposed to be reserved parking for Landcruisers.

what's the bet they show off a convertible FJC?

Jason, to be clear, is it at the Museum or at Toyota's headquarters? The address you give is the HQ on 190th and Western. The actual museum is a couple miles away on Artesia and doesn't have nearly enough space to fit a record-setting number of L/C's so I'm guessing it must be at the HQ.

Anyway, count me in, it's just like going to work on a Saturday, but way more fun!

Dan.

Ok - who's definetely in?

I'm going to try and make it down as well. If they don't save a spot I'll just park on top of the unfortunate souls who decides to bring their non Toyota into the lot.:whoops::beer:
