Jason Phillips (ex-TLCA Marketing VP and ex-So CA TLCA president) was organizing the event but dropped out a few weeks ago when he moved to Ohio for a new job. Mark Watkins (TLCA WIR and TUFFTORQ on Mud) took over organizing the event late last week and it is still on. An RSVP is not needed but if you know you will attend please send Mark Watkins a PM or an email (dozertraxx@aim.com) ASAP to let him know that you are going and how many people are in your group.

***Toyota Museum's 50th Anniversary Celebration***
For all who don't already know, on Saturday, October 27th, 2007, there will be a party at the Toyota Museum in Torrance, CA from 10 am to 5 pm to commemorate Toyota's 50th anniversary in the United States. There will be food, guest speakers from Toyota, local press and lots of Land Cruisers! Toyota America is asking that everyone who owns a Land Cruiser, and who is interested in attending, to show up with your rig to form the largest group of Land Cruisers ever assembled. Tell everyone you know who has a Toyota Land Cruiser, no matter what year or model to make the trip to support the Land Cruiser community. The club plans to attend in full force! Open to all Land Cruisers.

I however will have to miss the party as I will be out of the state. :mad: You guys better have a little extra fun for me.
 
hey, ige from rising sun. my parents have been bugging me to visit them in lake sherwood, so i just made flight plans...conveniently on that weekend;) guess i'll see some of ya then.

mapquest shows @ 55 minutes from lake sherwood to torrence...is that about right? or should i leave earlier.

OPEN TO ALL SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA 4WD TOYOTA OWNERS

On Saturday, October 27th, 2007, there will be a party at the Toyota Museum in Torrance, CA from 10 am to 5 pm to commemorate Toyota's 50th anniversary in the United States.

There will be food, guest speakers from Toyota, local press and lots of Land Cruisers! Toyota America is asking that everyone who owns a Land Cruiser, and who is interested in attending, to show up with their rig to form the largest group of Land Cruisers ever assembled. It would be ideal if you could attend with your collection of restored and unique rigs. Please RSVP for catering purposes.
