Y'all hear good things about Michelin LTX ?

chreeus can hook up cottonlanders with a smokin deal on em.. So I would like to hear some words on e?.

Wasn't that the tire on all new 80's?

That PJ Trailer would cost you $7500 and it looks great.

My 20' trailer is a PJ and the quality is unreal compared to most. The paint is thick and the wiring is done right.

I would look hard at this one Leonard.....not many places you guys go that don't have a shower.

Shower is for mrs. It would be nice to have a private shower for her and the kiddies. I wouldn't mind it as well.

Unfortunately I don't think I can swing buying camper/ bigger trailer this year. The lift hasn't faded from Sheila sites yet ;)

If the economy didn't suck azz and I didn't love the Excursion I would be all over this trailer. Shower would be nice but my fat azz wouldn't fit in it.

I need some tires for my 3/4 ton diesel. I would like to go to a load range E.
I have heard good things about this tire over on the pirate4x4 forum .

Michelin LTX A/S load range E
There are Claims of these tires lasting 77-100k.

The tire size I need is 285/75R16
Has anyone run them?
I will at some point be towing a 30-36 foot trailer with either 2 rigs or one rig & a slide in camper. So I want a tire that will handle that.

Post up the tires you have experience with towing.

That is what I run on my tow rig. Very nice ride quality (quiet and long life).

Good to know Charles . What size tire is your tow rig sporting?

265/70 in 17" rim. Stock rims/tires from 3rd gen Dodge truck. I've tried other tires, but like the LTX/AS tire the best. Very even wear, long lasting, and low noise. Also, the truck handles better driving too.

The only negative about the tire is not good performance in snow or mud due to tread design.

Not sure about tires lasting 100K miles. Mine do not last that long due to heavy foot at times. I'd say you will easily get 60K miles.

I would be happy with getting 60k out of a set of tires
