*I hate making posts like this one..here's why..

It's almost 7am, and I have yet to get any coffee in me and I know I'll be back w/i maybe 2 hours with the name I'm looking for here.

Custom made leaf spring pack, multiple leaf. Can't think of their name right now, but they make it so it'll ride great unloaded and perform great under load. Just retrofitted some of the Toyota Tacoma's and Tundras the county uses with them. 1 truck was easily able to handle a cord of Oak and the other a couple bucket loads of dirt.

Dang-it, c'mon...still can't remember their name and I was chatting with Keith about them just last year, and worse, like I said, just had them in my hands less than 2 weeks ago. :bang:

A'ha!! ALCAN!! Alcan Spring - Manufactures Fine Custom Leaf Springs
(Same ones we used to install on the ambulance conversions!)

 I figured it out after just 1 sip already man! Also finished up that polynomial homework I had. :D

BTW..there's a set for a Taco on their clearance page, call them and ask what they're rated to. They're usually brand new sets people have flaked on and you can get screaming deals if they're rated to your need, or pay just a little more for them to swap out a couple leafs so the pack will work for your needs.

(Industry Secret..shhh!)

**Apparently not, they're now including them on their page and ebay!

Yeah, there is no flex left in them - the spring is bottomed out on the rear bumper brackets, must be a helluva rough ride. Once you get the rear sorted out, should be much nicer on road and off

Looks good man, it should ride much better now that your suspension can actually move into "jounce" - - getting ready for RC?

well temp fixes will only go so far so alcan will be getting business from me sooner or later.

I have 5" Alcan springs front and rear of my pick up and would highly suggest them, I ordered my rear springs for a 4runner for the added strength when hauling dirt bikes and they still flex and ride GREAT
