Poor braking.....ok now I have something to fix on my "new" rig...that guy told me all the brakes were new.

Oh well, I'm just excited to have another rig & be back in the game again.
Now to start saving $$$$ for upgrades

Thanks for washing off the AIDS, Mr. Ballard, shame the bedliner s*** didn't wash off.

I do beleive this is the longest I've ever owned a vehicle & still not actually seen it.

Congrats on the new rig Tony. Don't worry once you get behind the wheel it will look awsome.

First Bill gets a trailer, now John. We're getting weak in our old age, next thing you know PYS will just be more river time then trail time.........

We'll fix the brakes before it leaves the shop. It does have new calipers and pads. Prolly has a lot of air in the lines.

Felt like lots o air.

Where did you acquire that truck? Looks very familiar...

Not that you guys would not know but bleed the lspv.

I blew a brake line at Flat Nasty and never gave a thought about the lspv after replacing the line. Did some reading and found that was to be bled last and that in fact it had to be bled ( would pump up but turned to s*** afer released). Bled it and perfect pedal now.

I haven't towed my 4 runner yet....

But it looks like I'll be giving it a whirl

Are you competing with your neighbor on who has more vehicles in their driveway and in front of their house??

Has the future trailer queen been on the trailer yet? How does the baby tundra like it?

Hey I'm down to 4

No, but I have towed Tony's new aidsmobile, I figure that was about 4500lbs. Then I towed it again but with Todd's stealy, which should get me close to my 4runner on the aluminum. It towed great. 60-65 mph in 5th gear turning about 1800-2000 rpm, never down shifted. And Todd's stealy has no trailer brakes, but I was still able to stop "ok." I'm thinking Ill take the 40 to the Tony run and see how that tows. I can never guess the weight of a 40, it is always way more than I think.

"IF" we do a late October fall run I think the 4runner will get towed for that, but since no one is speaking up on that run, I'm not sure it will happen....

Nice! Your trailer has brakes on both axles right? I predict full hydro steering and the top chopped off the runner after its first trip on the trailer...

Hey I'm down to 4

Hmmm. I have a DD, a tow rig, a fun rig, a project and a wheeler for 5.
John has a DD, a tow rig, a fun rig and a wheeler for 4.
Joe has 3 DDs, a wheeler and a project for 5.
Rome has 2 DDs, a wheeler, a fun rig and a golf cart for 4.5.
Bryan has a DD, a wheeler, 14 fun rigs and a tow rig (with no trailer)
The Hoff has 1 all purpose and I assume a wife mobile.

and Derik has 112 projects and 2 drivers. He wins!

or maybe Geoff wins. Depends on how you define winning.

God help us all if im "winning"! You are correct todd on the wife mobile. I actually have a project i bought in college, a 1944 willys g503 thats been sitting in the same spot in a barn in new lenox since i bought it and towed it home in 2002.

4 wheel steer, sealed up, wagon, that can still be driven on the highway.... And make odd lane changes.

.

The project can be moved to fun vehicle status. Just needs plates.
