You know of a club NOT running off volunteerism?

You're right. It should dissolve.

My point, obviously lost, was YOU are the volunteer. So am I.

It's a volunteer organization. It succeeds when WE volunteer.

It fails when we do nothing more than complain because no one else has volunteered.

Your club is the same way, and the many volunteers and their different talents and their interest in using those talents for the club is what makes it successful.

it seems to exist so a handful of folks can get their rocks off on each other. That didn't start recently either.

My state club tried joining... it couldn't.
Maybe people feel the same way about TLCA as they do the Federal Government lately: Taking without giving...

I'd do it. volunteer.... HELL YEAH! For something I believed in... alls it would take it a little gas monies and lodging to get to locations that i needed to set a booth up at... And I'd be all over it... FREE, cause i believe in it.

Hell, I'm in the HEART of Dixie, and have been known to take 5 hour one-way day trips to hang out in all directions... But what gospel am I preaching? Give me something to spit to folks and I'll spit it. But really... what does TLCA do?

The CottonLand Cruisers leadership is only looking to help improve TLCA and the value it brings to the chapter clubs. Let's discuss the TLCA and all the issues over beer and burgers like we always have.

Thanks!
