I forget this guys name on here.... He had a swap thread and tried to sell one of his trucks a few times. Maybe this will head stateside

ya when first rolled his truck and was selling it,i talked to him and let him know what his extreme v/b was worth, and offerred to swap plus $800 with my good spare. he pulled it off the market. i believe he bought another one and swapped the v/b's. he's a hd mechanic out of darcey area.

That is one of two identical trucks that were done for an energy drink company. I think (don't quote me) Ciaran worked on them or G&S. They used to be high roof and got cut down, also have about a 3" wheel spacer to accommodate those silly rims. They were at Cruisers days when it was still back in Surrey at the school.

US vehicle, so it's a gasser (most likely).

Which also questions the one owner statement, which implies it was bought new and imported across...is that even possible?

Not that I'm in the market...just curious and like to bust any potential scams.

This is not on Craigslist that I have seen, but there is a 1982 BJ60 (one owner iirc) that has sat inside a garage for 10-12 years, has not been run and has all the usual rust issues (not sure about frame health as I did not get underneath). 324,000kms, 4sp, manual steering. Was running when he put away. I do not know him, having chatted on the phone only. 604.931.7299 Needs it gone. I'm not in place to take on another project, so maybe someone local can strike a deal with him.

Yeah, 50,000 yet the pic shows 31,000? I'm saying scam of some type.

I'm thinking it's probably the same sort that buys a Jdm cruiser brand new and uses it for the occasional getaway to the hills. They end up with very low k in some instances. I'm stereotyping, I know, but look in the back at their orderly belongings, probably a Burberry coat and coach handbag in there. As well, it looks to be van condo- not much driving to be done if you live there and also not cheap. Owner could have been living in the us when the rig was purchased. Maybe I should just call and go have a look...
